We are pleased to announce Kathleen Meara has joined our growing team. Welcome Kathleen!

Get to know her below:

Born and raised in Kansas, Kathleen recently returned to the Kansas City after attending law school and then practicing law for six years in New York. Prior to joining the firm, Kathleen was a senior associate at a mid-sized civil litigation defense firm practicing in the New York City metropolitan area. Kathleen has extensive experience in defending medical malpractice actions involving complex medical and legal issues on behalf of physicians, nurses, physician assistants, medical groups, and hospitals. She is proficient in handling every aspect of the litigation process. Kathleen is also experienced in defending parties in other personal injury matters.

During law school, Kathleen was the Managing Editor of Notes and Comments for Family Court Review, in which her article, “What’s in a Name? Defining and Granting a Legal Status to Grandparents who are Informal Primary Caregivers of their Grandchildren” was published. Kathleen enjoys cooking, reading, listening to informative podcasts, and spending time with friends and family.
