Sanders Warren & Russell LLP was founded in 1999 with a commitment to providing quality and effective representation to its clients in all facets of civil litigation. Starting with eleven lawyers, the firm has been one of the fastest growing law firms in Kansas City and now has around 25 attorneys and three offices across the region. We attribute this growth to our client focused approach to handling cases and claims. We partner with our clients to develop a detailed, cost-effective, and proactive strategy to ensure that their concerns are addressed and their interests are protected. We recognize the importance of keeping our clients informed at each stage of the litigation process and engaging them in the decision-making process, whether that be to ultimately take a case to trial or to seek a fair and practical resolution of litigation. The firm also boasts one of Kansas City’s most robust and well-respected mediation practices, which gives our attorneys a unique and invaluable resource for evaluating and resolving cases. Our attorneys have the experience and judgment to recognize which cases should be tried and which cases should be resolved, as well as the confidence to stand by those decisions. 

The attorneys in our firm have tried hundreds of cases and successfully defended our clients’ interests at the trial and appellate level in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, mediations and administrative hearings. We have effectively represented clients in significant injury, death and damages claims in the areas of product liability, medical malpractice, trucking/transportation liability, premises liability, construction law, and professional liability, and our attorneys have been recognized for obtaining some of the top defense verdicts in Missouri by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. Included in our representative clients are construction companies, doctors, lawyers, nursing homes, architects and engineers, real estate professionals, small business owners and individuals.
