David has 20 years of litigation and trial experience in Missouri, Kansas and Florida.  He has tried numerous cases before juries and judges as well as drafting and arguing appellate issues before the Western District Court of Appeals.  These included complex multi-million dollar cases in both state and federal courts.  David also has experience trying bankruptcy matters on behalf of national corporations and defending insurers in worker’s compensation matters throughout Missouri. 

He maintains an active construction litigation practice representing design professionals, contractors, developers and homebuilders in all manner of construction defect litigation.  David handles all types of personal injury, business and commercial litigation for numerous companies, both large and small, through both insurance coverage and directly for those companies.  

Additionally, David’s practice provides a focus on analysis and litigation of insurance coverage issues, bad faith and extra-contractual claims against insurers which has included significant work in SIU investigations, conducting examinations under oath and defense of those claims into litigation.  David has defended numerous arson, theft and fire/explosion cases for insurers in multiple states.
